Looking for information about adding self signed SSL certificate to SQL database for secure communications.

Hey guys,

I am looking to put a self signed SSL Certificate on my SQL database for NPM for secure communications to the database. We have an instance on a Microsoft SQL failover cluster (2008R2 Datacenter edition SQL).

Does anyone know where I can find information about doing this? I am wanting to make sure NPM will still work, etc.
