Hi, I don't think the legacy license reset was once prefered way of license deactivation as it AFAIK didn't release the license for further use on customer portal. Prefered way is to use the license manager on the website.
If you plan migration to new server, I advise you to go through Migrate SolarWinds Orion products to a new server with a new IP or hostname , otherwise you're risking the dead-ending (read long-support-assisted downtime).
