Interface trending information - network interface baseline and trend information, how? where?

I'd like to be able to produce a report that would baseline and show trending for WAN interfaces on Cisco routers throughout our network. Right now I'm simply relying on reports of min and max utilization on a weekly basis. Is there a way to use NetFlow or to report on the number of times alerts are triggered in a given time period to determine how often a circuit crosses threshold.

I'd like to know what circuits are trending upward and to what extent.

If there were a way to report on the number of times utilization alerts were triggers for a given location during the month, that would be great. Can someone point me in the direction of how to begin with a report like that?
