Improved UPS monitoring

Hi,

We want to set up advanced alerting on UPS devices in NPM so that if UPS gets reset in 2 minutes , it should not triggers alerts. Would you advise whether we can use "Alert Evaluation Frequency" for establishing the same ?

or incase there is another method which we can apply on Orion Platform 2013.2.1. NPM 10.6.1, for improved monitoring.

I would set it on the trigger condition. Check the box for "Condition must exist for more than " and the set 2 minutes. The alert frequency just defines how often it checks for the alert conditions. Setting it on the trigger condition means that orion will not trigger that alert until it sees the value for the time defined.

When you write a new alert rule, go to Trigger Condition tab and at the bottom, you can see the "Condition must exist for more than .." option. Check that box and by default it shows 10 minutes. Change it it 2 minutes.

Sadly the guy hasn't been active since 2016 so if he hasn't figured it out by now probably not much hope for him!
