How to send sms alert to user?

Hi all, does it a must to use Notepager Pro to setup the sms advanced alert? currently we are using the sendquick alert plus. What should i do to intergrate the Sendquick with NPM?

    Can you/do you know how to send a message using a script with sendquick?  If so, execute that script as your action.

    Just out of curiosity, why don't you just send it using smtp?  For Verizon, you would send it to xxxxxxxxxx@vtext.com (I know the other company's have smtp addresses for SMS messaging too.
