How to put "Unmanaged" components on NPM

Scheduled unamange of nodes has been around since 10.0 and this article can step you through how to do that: Scheduling Unmanage Task for Nodes, Interfaces and Applications​. This does become easier in the newer versions of NPM as you can do it from the web console in the "Managed Nodes" section.

Unfortunately, you may still receive your alerts and triggers as there is not a simple way to mute/squelch for a specific node in the later versions. In NPM 12.1, the feature to mute alerts for a node was added.
