How do I present an image for a particular device in NPM?

Hello All,

I'm trying to add a custom image for each switch on our very large network and I'm looking for input.

For instance, I thought I had it when I 'Customized Page' - added 'Misc/Custom HTML' - provided the html URL for images being served from a virtual directory in IIS.

Unfortunately this was a global setting for all the switches and will not work for a specific picture of a specific device.

Hi there, I would suggest to create a new custom property for nodes (e.g. device_image) which will store name of the image for each particular device stored in inetpub folder. Then you can use Custom HTML…

I would suggest to create a new custom property for nodes (e.g. device_image) which will store name of the image for each particular device stored in inetpub folder. Then you can use Custom HTML resource and reference the image name by variable:
<img src="http://server/Orion/images/${device_image}" />
