Host OS for Orion NPM, NCM, and Engineering's Toolset

Hello Everyone,

My question regarding host OS for the production installation of Orion NPM, NCM, and Engineering's Toolset. While the evaluation Orion tools work almost on all latest Windows OS's, instruction in Orion Evaluation Guide specifies that the license/production Orion NPM and NCM must be on installed on Windows Server 2003 or 2008.

Would you please educate me on the OS requirement. Can I still run the production NPM, NCM, and Engineering's Toolset on Windows XP, Vista or 7?

Hello Hugh,

We tend to be a bit more liberal on supported OS for evaluation vs production. For Toolset you will be ok on XP and WIN7 but not for production NPM, NCM and our other enterprise products. For those take a look at the Adin Guide for each, which can be found here.
