Gaps in data

With each new release I am always hopeful that the gaps in my charts will go AWAY. That is not the case. I'm running 8.5 SP1 in production. It has 2704 nodes and 8300 interface elements. In qa I have NMP 9.0 SP2 with 6 nodes and 489 elements and I am still plagued with gaps.

looks like your statistics are set to collect something like every 10 minutes, while your chart shows your sampling every 5 minutes, so every second sample there is no collection, your sample rate must be the same or greater than your collection rate, never less or you'll see gaps.
