Good morning all. Today we are dealing with Case #930580 - Need to add new switch model to templates.
We have HP switches showing up as HP Switch in NPM instead of appearing under its own model like the others. It would be VERY helpful to get these new models added so that we can continue our reporting/auditing process as is without having to throw in one off instructions.
The models affected are:
HP J9727A 2920-24G-PoE+ Switch
HP J9562A 2915-8G-PoE Switch
I'm very certain this would be helpful for many others as well and relatively simple to incorporate into the system quickly. It would be nice to have a full audit of current HP switch models performed and maybe do a bulk update? They have released a LOT of new product lately and all the Aruba stuff will be coming down the pipe very soon.
