Excluding specific devices from a Network Sonar Discovery

I want to exclude specific devices from a Network Sonar Discovery. For example, I want the IP address 10.190.252.18 excluded from the discovery but everything else in the class C subnet discovered (10.190.252.0/255.255.255.0). Looking at Network Sonar, it seems to me that I would need to use IP Addrss Ranges (e.g. 10.190.252.1-17, 10.190.252.19-254) and that I could NOT use the Subnets option to discover the whole subnet and then exclude one or more specific IPs. Am I seeing this correctly?

That is true, however you could run the discovery for the whole subnet and simply choose not to import anything from that IP.

Thanks for the confirmation.
The problem I have is I don't want to every hit the device with a SNMP poll as I don't have the community string and it generates a security violation that this has to be responded to. So I want to avoid ever trying to perform a discovery on it.

Ah, I understand. Well it looks like you are correct then, and your best bet would be to select IP Address ranges. Also make a note that you want to have this logged as a feature request. It would be very helpful.
