Event 40 - WIN ADAP was unable to create the object

We have been noticing an entry in the System Event Log that happens every day at the same time (about 6:40 AM.) This is on a Windows 2003 server that runs Orion NPM 8.5.1 SLX along with Cirrus Configuration Manager version 4.0. It uses Microsoft SQL 2005 Standard as the database for both applications. It has 4 GB of memory and dual hardware-mirrored 128GB drives.

The error is listed as having a source of 'WinMgmt' and an event ID of 40.

 The description included is:

WMI ADAP was unable to create the object Win32_PerfFormattedData_MSSQLSERVER_SQLServerBufferManager for Performance Library MSSQLSERVER because error 0x80041002 was returned

This error only occurs at this particular time of day (usually two instances of it) and then nothing more for the rest of the day. It will be show as two identical event entries in the System Event Log and then nothing more until the next morning at the same time, the same two event entries as noted above will appear.

We have no major issues with this server (other than the map display issue which is fixed by running the Conifguration Wizard.)

Research into this error seems to point to the WMI provider having some issues or possibly not being installed (which it apparently isn't)? FYI - we are monitoring all of our Windows servers with Microsoft SCOM and have the Solarwinds Orion Management Pack installed on the SCOM server as well.

Thanks in advance for any ideas on this issue!
