Error Migrating To New SQL Server

Question

I have NPM 9.1 running on Microsoft SQL 2000. I am trying to move the database to a new server. Doing a backup or detaching and attaching the database, I get a this error:

run-time error '91':

Object variable or With block variable not set

When I run the configuration utility.

When you run through the configuration wizard - connect to the database with Windows Auth or a SQL SA priviledge login.

When you get to the SQL Username / Password - Create a NEW SQL Username.

Default is SolarWindsNPM - so an example would be SolarWindsNPM2, but this could be whatever you would like.

After successful completion of this step - you should finish the configuration wizard with no issues.
