Does the override SNMP port even work?

I am running Orion NPM 9.1 SP5 and have been trying in vain to perform the simplest thing. When you add a node you have the option of specifying the SNMP UDP port. I have a device behind a PIX 501 which I statically translated UDP port 161 to 49161 inside to outside. When I go to add the node It adds the device but the node details show port 161 not the port I overrode when I first added it. I was doing this to see if I could oversubscribe PAT and use different ports to conserve public IP space (I monitor networks that are disassociated).

I guess I am wondering why you can specify the port if it does not work anyways?
