Displaying Port Names for Brocade Switches

Can you walk the IF-MIB to see of those names are populated?

Any update on this given 10.1 supports fabric?

We did add more support for fibre channel switches in NPM 10.1 including out of the box views for WWN info, sensor details, connectivity unit details etc.  I recommend upgrading to 10.1 and checking it out

Sorry, I should have phrased my question differently. I'm running 10.1 (just installed) and I'm still not seeing the port name we assigned on the switch, rather everything is like "Port8/13 - FC port 8/13"

We've labled all the ports with server names, it would be nice if Orion showed this, like it does for network gear.

Gotcha, I will log an enhancement for this.  Right now we are displaying what we get from the IF-MIB

Is there a potential release this may show up in?  I am running 10.2 and am seeing the same thing.

Hi All,

     It is now 10.4 but still the port name defined for the Brocade / HP SAN switch was still not able to show up. Checked by a SNMP walk the names were defined under OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.1.6.2.1.36.1-80

Any progress with this?  I can see the last reply is 6 years ago, and it still doesn't populate port names.
