Discovering nodes that exist on another Poller

We have recently put in another poller; but the stoopid user (me) forgot to change to the new poller on the automagic discoveries. Hence, every node from the old poller got re-discovered. Now I realize this is just a PITA issue, but shouldn't a multi-poller system "look" at the other pollers to see if a node exists? I understand setting up the discovery that the poller your choose is the one you want the node to exist on, but really - a discovery should, IMO, look at all other pollers to see if a node exists before showing it in the "found nodes" listing. Have I set up something wrong by this happening? We have a total of 3 virtual pollers; going to 3 new physical pollers.

Thanks in advance!
