Create an Object in NPM - (not to be polled)

Can i create an Object in Orion NPM (such as a Data Center).

This object will not be polled, but can be used to capture info (site address, contact, etc .etc).

This could also be used as a 'container' - linked to a Custom Attribute.?

Also be good to use for Grouping.?

any ideas?

Groups are containers used for grouping, and can have Custom Properties set on them, they can contain nodes,interfaces, etc under them (I have several hundred groups)
External Nodes are useful if you have something you need to refer to in another alert (e.g. a BGP peer like your ISP that you might not want/be able to manage at all)
