Cisco ASR interface input queue

My network engineers are looking for a way to monitor the input queues for Cisco ASR interfaces.  Apparently there is a bug where input queues will fill up on interfaces and then the ports will shut down.  I'm wondering if anyone else dealt with this and/or found a way to monitor and alert on the the input queues on an interface basis?

  • nglynn Do you know the SNMP OID for that metric? Also, do you have any other SolarWinds products? (NCM or SAM?)

If you know the SNMP OID, you should be able to make a simple UnDP poller, which will allow you to monitor the metric.

Otherwise, if you also have NCM or SAM, you could probably come up with a little script to pull the information, and qualify it that way.
