Changing Network Maps?

After I created a network map with the Map Maker and inserted it in the web console, I looked for a way to change the list that appears beneath the network map.

Is this at all possible?

For example put a list of events(from that particular network) in that spot.

You would need to use Filters based on SQL. After clicking on Edit you will see a list of filter examples.

From the Website menu -> Admin-> Manage Views-> select Summary page view -> Edit the column resources as you wish,

This is not a view created in the webinterface, I mean the list of objects that is automatically placed under the network layout that I created in the Map Maker. I think it's part of the .ORIONMAP file?

The list contains all the links of the map and devices(objects).

Back a few years there was a radio button in Mapmaker that allowed you to not display the list of elements below the map.
One of my maps I created back then still maintains this view. All other maps display a list of map elements below the map.
<EDIT> this radio button was on the web admin page when adding a map to a view (not in Mapmaker itself</EDIT>
I still have 2 Custom Views which do not display the list of nodes below the map when I add any map to the view.
I'd really like to be able to turn this off for some of my maps as well.

To expand on Network_Guru's request, is there any way to reorder the list of elements? At this point, it seems like the list is ordered according to when the element was added to the map.

The list can be removed by editing the MapView.asp file located at Inetpub\Solarwinds\NetPerfMon by default. Remove the code near the bottom of the file that says NetworkMap.HTMLNodeList. Don't forget to make a backup of the original file before doing any modifications.

To replace the list with something else, for example an event summary, I would have to change that in the code as well?

I am curious if there was ever an answer to reordering the list of elements. We occassionally add sites and would like to get the list back to alphabetical.
