We have recently been seeing an increase in issues where resource monitors are stating errors. Here is what we see in our Manage Nodes area:
Expanding the node to view the resources shows (no other active interface, yet the node is up):
Listing the resources states that we are viewing a cached version or resources and the resource is green:
If we Force refresh, the resource list changes to (the correct adapter):
Selecting this then submitting adds the correct adapter to the list where we can select the incorrect one and delete it which makes the node status to just "Up" without any errors:
Has anyone else been dealing with this issue?
We have seen a lot of that in our VMWare infrastructure. It seems VMWare keeps rebuilding the virtual network adapter and that disconnects it from the monitored interface ID.
