Authentication Failure

snmpTrapEnterprise = RAPID-CITY​-MIB:snmpT​raps  experimental.1057.1 = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx  cExtSnmpTargetAuthInetAddr = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx  cExtSnmpTargetAuthInetType = 1  authAddr = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx  snmpTrapOID = SNMPv2-MIB​:authentic​ationFailu​re  sysUpTime = 2348652210    I have a router in a remote location connected to a system that's not ours. Their system, I have found out, is monitored by SolarWinds as well. It appears it's their system/monitoring that is causing this trap. Can someone tell me what port this is being sent from within SolarWinds, so I could block it on out interface connecting to their system?

According to Port Requirements for SolarWinds Products, SolarWinds listens for traps on 162 (UDP), but that doesn't exactly answer your question. If you are merely wanting to ignore this trap, you should set up a filter in the Orion Trap Viewer. For more information about using the Orion Trap Viewer in this way, see "Configuring Trap Viewer Filters and Alerts" in the SolarWinds Orion NPM Administrator Guide.
