Atlas Variables -

For me, the NPM 9.5 upgrade has been a very time consuming proposition, especially as it relates to the mapping system.

I've been able to clean up most of my maps; and aside from map load times bordering on unacceptable, many simple custom label variables do not work.

Some simple label variables that DO NOT work for me:

${NodeName}

${InPps}

${OutPps}

Is anybody else experiencing this problem? Hopefully this is an isolated problem and I won't find any more...

I have not tried the ${InPps} or the ${OutPps}, but i do have things setup with ${NodeName} and it is working fine.

You can also try ${SysName}

Also, I checked these two and they are defects, they have been logged as such
${InPps}
${OutPps}

OK, the ${NodeName} did work for me in 9.5, but doesn't work since I installed SP1.

Yes, ${SysName} works fine, but unfortunately I need both ${Sysname} and ${Nodename}. We monitor devices that are managed by a third party who set the system name, which does not match our internal naming convention. - So in a few cases, the system name does not match the nodename (caption). Of course, this happens on high visibility devices. - Gotta love Murphys Law.

Thanks for confirming. I too lost this capability with SP1. Hopefully someone can give us a quick fix.

9.5 has been a great pain ever since I upgraded. Many of nested maps stopped working. I had several maps nesting each other. It doesn't work anymore. I was using ${DateTime} variable with node my maps and it no longer works. Traps link times out and many more ...
