Hello everyone,
I am having some problems to get alerts working. On an unservices Orion NPM 8.51 SP3 SL 500 I have configured two basic alerts. One should inform me if a node goes down, the other if an interfaces goes down. Both alerts are supposed to generated emails sent to various people (one alert action with multiple receipients).
While under "Alerts" in the web console some entries for nodes that are not reachable are shown, other unavailable nodes are igonred. However, in the "Events" view I see entries like "Alert: Professional AP1 10.55.12.50 is Down."
The Orion installation has been in use for some time. It was installed way back in 2007 and upgrade several times.
Has anyone an idea what is causing this behavior?
