We forward traps to our NOC from Solarwinds. We use Alcatel and Calix. Our Calix has no problem sending the traps to our NOC, but Alcatel does.
My question is- Does anyone here use Alcatel? Are you successful sending Alcatel Traps to your NOC?
I built alerts and when I simulate the alert to the NOC the NOC gets the trap. Alcatel NODES report when they have issues but the alert even though I have a trap built and in the alert it doesnt send anything to the NOC on its own.
Thoughts?
