Add custom property to web tooltip??

It is not currently possible to add a custom property to the map tooltip, I will log that as an enhancement request

I've tried to add a tooltip to the Orion.Nodes list like this;

Address: ${Nodes.IP_Address}

And this

Address: ${IP_Address}

When I click Submit, nothing changes and I'm still at the edit page.

So here is the up to date list of valid variables, see here

We do have a defect in the system when you click submit it does not take you back properly, however, if you go back to network summary home and hover over an item on the map, is it showing properly?

It did work.  Just doesn't act like it did.

Is that same capability available for the hover action on a node?

We've added Custom Properties to our Nodes and those show up as fields in the Nodes table of the database.  I added them as Map Tooltips to the Orion.Nodes and they display as expected.  Those properties are Service_Provider and Service_Type and I added them in the Tooltips for Orion.Nodes like this;

Provider: ${Service_Provider}${CR}Service Type: ${Service_Type}

Works great!

Can someone please clarify whether this capability exists with SP5 HF2?  Brandon says it doesn't and Mkomeara says it does.  It's not working for me on my implementation (9.5 SP5 HF2) meaning I can't add custom property variables and have them reflected in a hover action over the node.

I have also tried adding the following tooltips to my interfaces but I'm not even seeing the labels when I hover over a link.

Downlink:${Inbps}${CR}Uplink:${Outbps}${CR}Bandwidth: ${CustomBandwidth}

OK so I checked with Dev and I am wrong - Custom properties are translated both in web tooltips and map labels attached to nodes.

I have my tooltips displaying the Location and the service provider through the contact field, by using the SNMP varibles in the router.  Works great until the location changes and I update the snmp values on the routers.  It changes in the nodes table but the tooltip doesnt seem to get the new information.

Any thoughts?
