i was told to do a repair on the installation and re-run SP2 because it had been updated "last night" although it still has a last modified date of 6/24/09
i repaired it, re-ran the service pack from my customer portal (dated 6/24/09 which obviously wasn't updated as stated), and the hot fix from the portal and have the same issue.
