2020.2.1 HF2 not being installed

There is an NTA HotFix 2 in the 2020.2.1 Hotfix package.  My guess is SolarWinds is releasing a HotFix 2 update today that will update the Orion Platform to HF2.

I believe you are correct. I have been checking every 30 minutes for HF2 to be released. Our entire environment was patched to HF1 yesterday thankfully.

The way I read the CISA publication is HF1 is also vulnerable.

So you guys are saying that HF2 is not release yet? Why does my hotfix installer show I need to upgrade NTA to 2020.2.1 HF2 then?

I know it's a little confusing with the different modules.  The NTA HF2 isn't the same thing as the hopefully coming soon 2020.2.1 HF 2 for Orion Platform.  I don't think it's been released yet.

Could be a premature showing of the download to come. With it continuing to state that it is still HF1 after you have installed it, would make sense because they have not officially released it yet. 

We have shutdown our servers with Orion on them until the HF2 installer is available, and will be doing a manual install. Will SolarWinds send us an email when it is available? 

The current Hotfix for NTA is Hotfix2.  Upgrade to it.  When SolarWinds releases HF2 for the Orion Platform.  Upgrade to it.

that is the NTA hotfix and not the platform hotfix

Don't bother calling suppport today. After an hour of being on hold to ask them about the issue. my call was automatically dropped in to voicemail..   

Going to assume for the moment that they are still working on HF2 and that the NTA HF2 in the installer is not what it seems.

If anyone see HF2 available can you post to the forum?
