NCM server client install at desktop for web alternative

I see where others have asked for this before, referring to it as a thick client, but, I did not see where anyone really made any arguments in favor of being provided the enhancement.

Using NCM through the web ui is encumbered by the fact that it is a component among many and suffers from any performance issues that imact your Orion server or your browser.  The server based application is fast and easy to use and, currently I am forced to RDP to the NCM server to run it.  The application does most of its work with the database does not suffer so much with the lag that you can see from so much traffic at the Orion server.  It should be a client install that will work, not only on the server, but at the workstation as well.  It is a better security model to grant users access to run the client at their workstation rather than that have them log into the server itself.  Again, the web interface is not as robust for frequent access as an executable is.  It is slow and clunky.  The app is fast and pretty light-weight.
