Currently, NCM GUI does not support security best practises like UAC to be enforced in a windos 2008 R2 environment.
In order to be able to install & use GUI in a PCI enviroment, NCM should support Windows security best practises like UAC to be enabled.
UAC is a security control to protect against a malware but prompting the end-user when he wants to use administrative privileges.
Security best practices also recommand to implement segregation of duties and restrict operating system administrative privileges to server administrators.
Currently, in order for network administrators to use NCM GUI, it is required to grant them OS administrative privileges.
