Better Reporting For Cisco VSS

Add both serial numbers from a Cisco VSS pair to reporting.

When a report is run against Cisco switches who are paried togethor with VSS only one serial number is reported. To add VSS switches to my report I must connect to these switches and do a show inventory then add the serial numbers to my report.

Looks like I just found my own suggestion in NCM, but not sure if this can be done with NPM. From reports choose view reports, then chose Physical Entities> Physical Entities (Serial Number) v2. After running this report it incuded all the information I needed to include all stack members of 3750's and 2960x's and my VSS switches.
