Solarwinds TFTP server service port

Question

Hi,

My security team identified that port 8099 is active in our Solarwinds polling engines. While checking I can see that Solarwinds TFTP server service is using this port.

As per the documentation of Solarwinds, TFTP service is using UDP 69 and there is no mention of port 8099.

Can some one tell me if this is any issue or something?

 Upshot: "SolarWinds uses an internal communication port to communicate between the windows service and the various applications."
