NCM 7.3 license migration to NCM 2020.1

Hello,

Can't we use NCM 7.3 license for NCM 2020.1? I successfully migrated NCM 7.3 license (DL200) to newly installed NCM 2020.2 on separate server and database, but when I try to access the NCM page it displays an error saying an upgrade is needed. Is it referring to system upgrade or license upgrade?

You'll need current maintenance agreement to upgrade it. License portal will have the licenses you need if you're still under maintenance.

Hello chrisorourke,
Thank you for the reply. Do you mean Upgrade the license? if so can you share steps if possible? The license portal shows me that my license has been activated with my new server's host name, which hosts NCM 2020.2. My maintenance agreement is valid until June 2021.
I don't know if it helps but the license for NCM specifically states NCM 7 unlike the NPM and NTA 2020.2 which are installed on the same server.

Did you run the Website Configuration Manager and set the IP Address to "All Unassigned"?
