Re: Missing or Incorrect EoL/EoS Data

Hi ,

You are correct. The ASA - Catalyst confusion is a known problem and we're working on remediation.

Re: Missing or Incorrect EoL/EoS Data

The key date we use for Cisco is the "End of SW Maintenance Releases" date.  Because if we can no longer patch and maintain the OS we cannot secure device.  It would be nice to add that date to the EOL data.

Thanks,

Re: Missing or Incorrect EoL/EoS Data

We at this time are unaware of any issues; as I am currently waiting for the correct 'Time Frame' so our NPM and a few other components can be upgraded to the current version. Once done I will edit to add any devices we have issue with.

Re: Missing or Incorrect EoL/EoS Data

All below are showing the wrong devices (non are showing the actual device correctly):

Cisco Catalyst 2811 is showing info for Catalyst 2800

Cisco IE30008TC switch showing info for VPN 3000 concentrator and Tanberg 3000 media gateway

Cisco MDS 9124 showing MDS 9134 and MDS 9120

Cisco WS-C3560V2-48PS showing IP/VC 35xx series and Catalyst 35xx series.

Actually, most of our cisco gear is showing wrong info.

The system also has a hard time differentiating between different models of 3560 switches and also likes to try matching 3500XL switches to those.

Re: Missing or Incorrect EoL/EoS Data

Cisco WS-C4948E-E switches are showing up as 4912G switches. I believe this is actually showing up on other members of the newer 4900 series switch family.

EOS/EOL FOR CISCO CATALYST 4912G, 2948G, AND 2980G-A SWITCHES  [Cisco Catalyst 2900 Series Switches]...

The above is the actual link providing in NCM. To my knowledge the 4948E series doesn't have a published EOS/EOL statement yet.

Correct link for WS-C4948-10GE which also supplies the above link: End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement for the Cisco Catalyst 4948-10GE, Cisco Catalyst 4928-10GE,...
