Issues verifying uploaded firmware

We are trying to start deploying IOS firmware using the latest version of NCM, however the verify uploaded firmware image command is not working. We are using the default command and consistently receive the error below. I have manually verified the md5 hash on the device and it is correct. Has anyone else ran into this issue and found a solution?

verify /md5 ${NewImageSlot}${NewImageName} ${NewImageHash} ${SuccessRegEx:Verified}

ERROR Process could not continue because execution results do not match expected pattern: Verified

I have the same issue -across multiple versions now. I suspect is has something to do with larger firmware file validations, but haven't proved that. I notice it seems to work on some stuff like validating if files exist.
