Issue is NCM installation

Hi Community,

I am trying to install standalone NCM Component on a server for monitoring, But it is showing some errors.

Can anyone please address this error.

Database configuration failed:

Exception while configuring plugin vimcloudmonitoring component Vimcloudmonitoring database Resource file 'Vim.strings' was not found.

The syslog and trap services are not starting up

do you have a valid license installed? A valid trial is also OK.
Non functional syslog and trap services usually indicate an unlicensed install.
As for the other error: VIM is part of NPM, so this could be an error you can ignore.

Thanks for the response but I am still stuck at the same place.
Yes I am working with trial license and trying to install NCM using silent installer. my silent.xml is attached.. Please let me know if if anyother changes are required.

It looks like an issue with the silent XML, haven’t done that in the past as I do many „tweaks“ before so I want to „see“ if this actually works.
I come to this conclusion because the Services, that are installed seem to be too few. I have to check in my NCM only installation later
