Custom SNMP Port?

Hello Everyone,

We have a device in the field that listens on a custom SNMP port. We are unable to contact the device using NCM 5.1, and I am unable to find anywhere in the documentation or the forum whether SNMP on a custom port is supported. If it is, how do I list the custom port when I try to add it as a new device?

You can't. I've been waiting for this *feature* in NPM for a couple of years but it keeps falling off the list. Give them a call and tell them you would like it too!

Thanks for the heads up. I've opened up a case and asked for a feature request, so we'll see what happens.

We've added the custom port for Telnet and SSH for the NCM 5.5 release. I'll ensure that we look at adding the custom SNMP port in the next release.
