Can NCM 7.4 running on a separate server be integrated with NPM 11.5.2?

We have NPM 11.5.2 installed and up and running.

We want to install NCM 7.4 and integrate it with NPM 11.5.2 and have it run on separate servers.

Question: Can NCM 7.4 run on a different server then NPM 11.5.2 or do they need to be installed on the same server?
