I don't think that's the case based on the capacities listed but that might depend on the number of elements per node. Given an average of 12 elements per node * 1,000 nodes you would be roughly at the same stated limits for either snmp/wmi or agents.
It does however look to be far more friendly on polled device bandwidth -
On the other hand I think the 0.25% cpu avg might be higher then snmp or wmi but might present substantially differing avg vs peak temporal values.
