How to monitor ESXi Hosts with Log Manager?

Jump to solution

How to setup ESXi hosts to send their syslogs to Log Manger?  Normally we send the logs to IP using port 514 of storage location.

Just add the Orion server to the list of IP's that the hosts send logs to, same as any other syslog/trap collector.

Thank you.  Didn't know if there was anything special for it using port 514.

Hi there! I'd love to have a conversation with you about what you're looking to monitor with VMware events. Would you have 30 minutes to chat with me perhaps this week? I'll reach out with my contact information through a private message.
