Workaround for Netgear devices and device.backup.running.config

Anyone have either a custom activity, device or script that will allow Netgear devices to backup and pass a compare run while ignoring the commented out lines that start with '!'?

Netgear time stamps their configs so they always show as changed.  Back reading the forums I see that the variations function was due for Netgear devices at some point but it is not in the current version.

I've tried working with Generic devices but I'm getting errors with what looks like it trying to set VTY functions.

If you enable capture mode (File\Enable capture mode) you can see verbose communication with your device.
