Juniper and CatTools pulling off additional files from the device

You could try using the Device.Cli.Send commands activity to transfer the file over TFTP.

Unfortunately TFTP is not available in JUNOS, can I use scp?

CatTools doesn't provide an SCP server, however SolarWinds does have one.  Have a read of the CatTools online help page at: http://www.kiwisyslog.com/help/cattools/dev_specificinfo_backupviascpsftp.htm

I just finished install the Solarwinds SCP server, I have having an issue automating the password prompt I am getting on the juniper side. My syntax is:

file copy /root/B2C4VC0 scp://root@xx.xx.xx.xx/Test

then after this command is executed I get a password prompt.

If the SCP command syntax does not extend to including the password in the command; then we'll need to look into modifying the Juniper device script to handle the password prompt.

Can you please raise a feature request ticket via support and also provide as a zipped attachment (by replying to the ticket acknowledgment email) the following:

1) a PuTTY capture of the relevant commands and responses (complete session capture).

2) if possible, a CatTools device capture.  Enable capture mode (File menu) then run the activity in question to generate the debuglog file for the device.  You will find the debuglog in the \Debug sub-folder of the main CatTools install folder.

3) the infolog.txt file from the main CatTools install folder (after running the activity).
