Activity Device.Update.Banner (Login) fails with Cisco IOS Version 12.2(52)SE

Hi - I  believe you were able to get a solution to this through support. If anyone else is having this issue please open a support ticket and reference TT #1231.

You're right, Support sent me an updated Client.Device.Update.Banner.txt with which it works!

I just updated to version 3.5. It seems the change didn't make it to this release. Using the script "Client.Device.Update.Banner.txt" which is included in version 3.5 I get errors from the updated Cisco devices. I had go back to the script I had received from support. Let's wait for the next version...

Hi LLs71 - you were the only customer we had working with the script, so we decided to hold off releasing it in the formal release until we had more testing and feedback. We only have so many QA hours, so we had to focus those on some scripts that were more in mainstream demand. 

If anyone else works with the script, please do let us know how it goes.

The updated patch on this post resolved my issue as well.  I was getting an error "Banner syntax error" previous to applying this file.  After applying it successfully applied the banner.  This update should be included in the next release of CatTools.

I have also used the script as was getting the same error and it has also worked for me.
