Checkpoints failing SNMP V3

HI all

I have been trying for a while now to get solarwinds to communicate with our firewalls using SNMP v3, they are able to manage a simple icmp or if we do add the snmp credentials they seem to detect the machine type but when trying to pol using smnp it fails everytime.  I have checked password etc on both devices but fails everytime.  It works brilliant with our cisco switches and even our basic UPS nic cards, so not sure why its so hard on checkpoints.  Any help please, I have tried a few universal pollers and nothing works.

did u check if SolarWinds supports that device? U can also verify by checking the MIB viewer to see if that OID is visible or not

It does support it to some degree, as the manufacturer checkpoint does appear, however when trying to list resources causes snmp issues.

is it failing with both SNMPV2c and SNMPv3?

We only prefer to use SNMPv3 due to the encryption benefits so tbh not tried v2
