IPAM 4.7 is now generally available and you can get this latest release from your customer portal. In our previous release, we brought you integration with VMware vRealize Automation and Orchestrator to help you automate the provisioning of IPs to your VMs. In this release, we’re bringing you the ability to automate the provisioning of IPs to your users.
WHAT IS THIS WIZARDRY?
OK, so the IP Request Wizard isn’t quite magic, but your users will be able to walk through a wizard and automatically reserve IP addresses from specific subnets. For generic IP requests with limited information or permissions, users will complete a form that will generate an alert for the IPAM administrator to act upon.
TAKING IT TO THE CLOUD
If you’re using Amazon Web Services (AWS) Route 53 or Azure DNS, you can now centrally track your cloud DNS information.
Easily add your cloud account in four easy steps and view all your cloud DNS zones in a single pane of glass.
Drill down to view your DNS records and pop open the inspector pane for even more details.
OVERLAPPING IP RANGES? NO PROBLEM!
You can now monitor non-routed subnets at multiple locations, allowing for overlapping IP spaces. When adding a DHCP server, simply select or create another network group to add scopes and subnets to.
