Seeing DHCP EXCLUSIONS in IPAM

Is there a way that one can actually see an Exclusion "range" in a DHCP Scope in IPAM? (Support and Development supposedly says, "No."

Since Exclusion ranges are very important for a scope, if one wishes to have "Static Addresses" for example, in the "low order" of the address range, I would think that "IPAM would see and honor such sub-ranges that appear in the scope(s).

This is the reply that I received from Support:

"'IPAM will NOT be able to recognize excluded IP addresses from the DHCP (to be given out) if a subnet was created before hand prior adding the DHCP server. If the subnets are created before hand and then merged the DHCP scope in there, the scope becomes a part of the subnet. Thus, IPAM will not honor exclusions.'

IPAM is expected to honor exclusions on the DHCP server. But this becomes an issue if you created a subnet before hand and then merged the DHCP scope in there. That's why we need to be sure that the DHCP server is added in IPAM without the subnets created yet."

What are all of your thoughts?
