Importing from Engineer's Edition Toolset

I have about 300 subnets in IP Address Manager from the Engineer's Edition Toolset.

I used this procedure to import them:

Made a copy of IP-Address-Management.IPDB from toolset
Renamed it IP-Address-Management.MDB
Opened with Access
Exported the subnet table to an Excel spreadsheet
Removed all the columns except SubnetAddress, SubnetMask and Name
Imported this into IPAM

During the import, there is no option to map the SubnetMask or Name fields...not good. The result is 300 subnets listed as "Orphaned IP's" I have to enter the CIDR and Name MANUALLY before they show up properly in IPAM.

Hello kesteele,
That is not the correct method to migrate. We have a command line tool that imports the entire database. After that you just drag and drop (within the tree) to organize.
The top right of the IPAM Settings page has a getting started section having a link to the appropriate steps. Here's the kb version:

Do you think the help link (in IPAM Settings) is prominent enough?

Thanks for your prompt response...that worked!
I would suggest adding this to the yellow "Getting Started with IP Address Management" on the IPAM summary page.
