Currently IPAM is not showing a mac entry for hosts associated with an ip. From my understanding it should be grabbing this information from the MAC table and associating that with IP addresses. Due to the network being layer 2 up to the core switch the only place a full list of ip to mac table can be found is on the core arp table. I noticed these entries are listed in a format of 1234.5678.9101 instead of in HEX 12-34-56-78-91-01, I also noticed that IPAM will only accept entries for the mac column in HEX format. Could this be why I'm not seeing this information, and how can I fix it, or is there something else causing the mac info not to populate.
