How to get ipaddess in the drop down list of Search under managed nodes

You can search via IP address already in that field.  I do it daily. 

but im not getting that option mine is NPM 12 Version

There is no "option".  Just leave the drop down on Nodes and type in an IP address.  You don't have to put the entire IP in either.  For example, if you're looking for a certain range, you can type in just the first 2 or 3 octets and get a variety of search results.

No the devices which I added with ipaddress only those im able to search but im not able to search other devices which are added with hostname

Device whose hostname is the ipadress that we are able to search.

But we are not able to search the remaining ones whose hostname is the device name

You should still be able to pull up results via searching for IP addresses.  We almost never leave the node name as just the IP address. 

I tried but im unable to search.im getting no device found when searched with the ipaddress but when im searching with node name im able to navigate to that device

You got me then.  I've never seen it not work when there's a legitimate IP address that fits the search criteria.................
