How to get IPAM to do an immediate IPAM subnet Scan?

Hi.

I am toying with the idea of (at certain times) asking IPAM to immediately re-scan an IP network that it knows about. I.e. rather than waiting the default period of 4 hours.

I know that I can do this via the GUI.

My question is, how can I get this to happen without going through the GUI but rather by an external request directly into IPAM.

Anyone know?

I don't believe you can do this. So your best bet is to create a feature request for this.

Hi Joel,
could you describe your problem better? I understand you don't want to shorten the scan interval but you would like to call "scan now" remotely (from 3rd party software I may assume). this is currently not supported, but if you explain us better what you need to do it will help us to understand how it can be achieved.
