I’m thrilled to welcome back Ben Baldi and announce he has rejoined the SolarWinds government team to serve as vice president of federal sales. In Be
n’s new role, he will lead federal sales, sales engineering, and channel and work to ensure the federal government has the tools and services needed to support its mission-critical workloads.
Ben rejoins SolarWinds from Sumo Logic, a cloud-based machine data analytics company focused on security, operations, and BI use cases, where he supported the company’s federal government customers. Prior to his time at Sumo Logic, Ben dedicated six years to SolarWinds and played a pivotal role in building out our federal practice and go-to-market strategy. He delivered consistent and strong results for the company and our customers, and we’re excited to have him back.
His solid understanding of SolarWinds, the internal relationships he has fostered, and the experience he’s gained over the past two years at Sumo Logic will help accelerate our business and take us to the next level.
